Report a Crime or Concern

Regardless of the seemingly insignificant crime, victims are encouraged to promptly report the incident to the District Police Authority Department or the appropriate police agency if it occurred outside of college property.

To report a crime, a victim or witness should promptly call the District Police Authority Communication Control Center at 313-496-2800.

If there is no immediate answer, call 911 immediately. 911 calls from pay phones and cellular phones are free. A District Police Authority officer will meet them to gather the information. An official report is made with copies available to the victim.

Students and employees should report criminal offenses for timely warning and statistical reporting purposes to the appropriate District Police Authority number above or police agency if the crime occurred off‐campus.
