Crime Logs
The District maintains a public crime log that records any crimes occurring on campus or within the patrol jurisdiction of the campus safety department. This log includes:
- Nature of the crime
- Date and time
- General location
- Disposition (if known)
Incidents are documented within two business days. However, some information may be withheld to protect victim confidentiality, ensure ongoing investigations remain intact, or prevent a suspect from fleeing. Only the minimal necessary information will be withheld, and it will be released once there’s no longer a risk.
Accessing the Log:
- The crime log is available to the public during regular business hours, allowing access for students, employees, parents, and local press.
- Logs are kept for 60 days and can be accessed within two business days of a request.
