Visitor Information
Seating typically begins one half hour before scheduled curtain time. Latecomers will be seated at appropriate intervals. Production considerations may require adjustments to the seating schedule.
All patrons must present a valid ticket for entry. Occupancy totals are strictly enforced. No seats may be placed in the auditorium. Standing or sitting in the aisles is prohibited.
Children: We welcome family attendance at the Educational and Performing Arts Center. Children two and older will require a ticket for entrance. Strollers and baby seats are not allowed in the theatre. Only you can decide whether a performance is suitable for and interesting to your child. We also ask that you take into consideration whether a child can sit quietly for an entire performance without disturbing other members of the audience. Please note: Some performances may restrict access for patrons under five years of age.
The EPAC is designed to fully comply with the Americans with Disability Act of 1992.
Wheelchair Access: The facility has a fixed number of wheelchair accessible seating areas in a variety of locations. Please notify Box Office of your need for wheelchair accessibility when purchasing your tickets. Wheelchair accessible seats are sold on a first-come first-served basis, and at least three companion seats are designated for sale with the accessible seat. In cases where all other seats are sold, accessible seats will be available for sale to all patrons.
Assistive Listening: RF receivers are available at the Box Office.
Copyright laws, union regulations, and contractual obligations typically require the EPAC to prohibit the use of cameras and recording devices. Please check your program or speak with the House Manager about the policy for the specific performance you are attending.
Please silence all cell phones and similar devices which might cause a disturbance during the performance. The use of cell phones, including texting, is prohibited in the theatre.
Pursuant to Campus Regulations and Michigan State Law, smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
Concessions may be for sale at selected events. Food and beverages must be consumed in the lobby and are prohibited in the theatre.
Free parking is available in the Downriver Campus parking lots, subject to availability. Patrons may be dropped off at the circular drive in front of the main entrance on the East side of Campus. There is limited barrier-free parking in this area and additional barrier free parking is available in the east and west lots. After parking, pedestrians should proceed directly to the sidewalks for entry to the theatre.
Emergency procedures are posted throughout the campus. Please report emergencies to any of the EPAC or Campus staff. The Campus Safety office is located adjacent to the main campus atrium.
If you notice a missing article prior to leaving the theatre, please check with the House Manager . Found items will be turned in to the Campus Safety office for safekeeping. For lost articles, please call the Theatre Operations Dean at (734) 374-3232.
