Student Complaint Process

For students with a complaint concerning a course, an instructor or other staff member should discuss the problem with the instructor or staff member first. Suppose the student is still dissatisfied after this discussion. In that case, the student should complete a formal, written inquiry/complaint form, which is also available in the Student Services Office at the campus of choice.

Refer to the Student Code of Conduct in the WCCCD Student Handbook for additional information regarding complaint resolution. After following the established complaint protocol, students who remain dissatisfied may file a complaint with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs at Post-Secondary Complaints Information.
