Learning Resource Center FAQs

All WCCCD students and faculty are entitled to a library card. Students and faculty may apply for a card at any of our five campuses. Students will need to show a current WCCCD one card and a class confirmation/registration form when applying. Faculty will need to show a current student roster or ID.

The library card is renewable every semester and will allow the student or faculty member to check out books, and AV materials for faculty only. To renew, bring your current class term confirmation and current ID to the LRC.

There is a $10.00 charge for replacement of a lost or stolen library card.

No, you can return books to any of our five LRC's. That's one of the many benefits of a multi-campus library system.

The library catalog can be accessed from anywhere by going on-line and to the WCCCD web site and clicking on Learning Resource Center, Library Catalog.

Books are charged out for a period of three weeks. There is a one-week renewal for all circulating books.

Yes, the library charges fines on overdue materials at the rate of 25 cents per day up to a maximum of $40.00.

Report your library book as lost. The library will give you a fine or lost report to take to the cashier on campus to pay for the book. The library will place fees in your Webgate account and your can pay online.

No, late fees must be paid before checking out or renewing library materials.
