Denise Wellons-Glover Welcome Center (WC)

Whether you are starting college right out of high school, looking to improve your skills in an existing career, or just seeking the personal enrichment that further education provides, the Denise Wellons-Glover Welcome Center is your first stop at Wayne County Community College District's Northwest Campus.

The Denise Wellons-Glover Welcome Center centralizes the majority of student services into one convenient location for students and is staffed by professional college personnel who can provide core assessment, advising, career counseling, admissions, registration, and Financial Aid assistance.

To ensure their success, services for students with disabilities or students enrolled in technical programs are obtainable through ACCESS; individual and group tutoring are available through our Learning Center; while support in transitioning to a four year university is provided through TRIO. The Welcome Center also houses the campus bookstore, the Learning Resource Center, several classrooms, GED office and classes, a Student Lounge and a Subway Restaurant.
