Logging into your course (Blackboard)
Your Blackboard Username is your WCCCD a-number (issued upon enrollment) and the password is the same as your WCCCD Email password (6-digit-DOB). If you cannot access your Blackboard or cannot reset your password, call Distance Learning at 313-496-2684 for assistance.
Distance Learning (Blackboard) Resources
WCCCD uses the Blackboard learning management system (LMS). For Blackboard Learn, Anthology supports Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge desktop and mobile browsers. All these browsers apply updates automatically for most users.
Blackboard Browser Requirements:
- Blackboard recommends the use of the latest version of any web browser. It’s important to update your web browser regularly.
- Pop-ups must be enabled. Disable your pop-up blockers.
- Javascript must be enabled
- Cookies must be enabled
- Install the most commonly used internet plugins and keep them updated
