Pre-Engineering
The Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) Engineering faculty prepares students to work as engineers in the electrical, mechanical, computer, and/or industrial industries.
Our program specializes in providing you with the foundation of analytical reasoning and problem-solving required to succeed in engineering.
An Associate of Applied Science (A.S.) degree in pre-engineering from WCCCD prepares you for a role as an engineer.
What’s the Job Outlook for Engineers?
Employment in architecture and engineering occupations is expected to grow faster than average from 2022 to 2032, with around 188,000 job openings yearly due to growth and replacement needs.
What Will I Learn as a Pre-Engineering Student?
WCCCD Pre-Engineering students learn the fundamental disciplines of mathematics and science to learn the analytical and problem solving skills necessary on the path of becoming an engineer.
