Emergency Room Multi-Skill Healthcare Technology

The Emergency Room Multi-Skill Healthcare Technology (ERT) Associate of Applied Science Degree and College Certificate program is designed to prepare you to work within the hospital and urgent healthcare environment. You will receive specialized training in hospital procedures and protocols. 

Practical skills include insertion of Foley catheters, EKG, phlebotomy, 12-lead cardiac monitoring, sterile procedures, insertion of nasal gastric tubes, and many others. You will be trained to assist during emergencies, performing medical services at emergency rooms and medical facilities. Emergency Room Multi-Skill Healthcare Technologists (similar to medical technicians, EMTs, and paramedics) care for the sick or injured in emergency medical settings.
