Informatics
Informatics is the science of information and all its aspects – storage, how it’s processed, communicated, and used. If you are interested in data in all its forms, from health information to sports data, Informatics is a great career choice. Diving into the data to find a relevant small piece of information that allows an organization to make effective decisions is one way you would use Informatics. Informatics is common in health care, an industry that is always looking for ways to optimize patient care, but you will see that you can find an Informatics position in every industry because the need to analyze “Big Data” into manageable chunks is at the heart of what Informatics is– an exciting and emerging career field.
What’s the Job Outlook for Informatics?
