Computer Information Systems: Application Developer

Application development jobs involve designing, building, and implementing software applications from an App on your phone to solutions designed to solve a complex business need.  Understanding requirements, defining specifications, prototyping, developing code, and testing the application are core components of App Development whether your interest is creating an App for your use or for a client. With the expansion of software development for artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and other automation applications, Application Development is a core component.

The Application Developer Certificate includes courses in both Android and iOS operating systems; the capstone project can result in an application ready for an App Store.
